*St. Marks School*

St Mark's educates over 300 pupils, one third of whom are orphans.
Through sponsorship of orphans AAD provides school fees, two meals a day, a uniform and a pair of shoes for each orphan, as well as ensuring teachers are paid, resources provided and facilities developed.

*Equipping Pastors*

There are about 60 pastors in East Kasese diocese. AAD funds pastor's training and provides Bibles for those without one. It also finances and supports church buildings, evangelical conferences and Bible teaching in general.

*Resourcing Women*

There about 70 widows in East Kasese Diocese that AAD is presently supporting by funding piglets, building pigpens and providing pig management training. Pig breeding provides income for widows who are affected by the consequences HIV/AIDS and also post war conflict with nearby Congo. Many widows care for large numbers of orphans and therefore income is needed for school fees, medical care, food and general household provisions like soap and oil.
